Swiss Jobs DEcoded

Below is a write up by our BTS executive committee member Deepa Rajagopalan. BTS team thanks Deepa, Raj, the panelists, the participants and all the volunteers for their contribution to this successful event.

At Basel Tamil Sangam, we organised the webinar today on “Landing a Job in CH - Decoded!”. My brilliant co-organiser, Raj Sundaresan and I had the honour to plan, present and moderate the session.  

We had an exceptional group of panelists in Justin S. Antony, Divya Sathiasekaran, Balaji Jayaraman, Sangeetha Mukundan, Deepali Jakkli Luthra  representing diverse industries. They not only shared their unique journeys but also generously provided the resources and tools that supported their own career paths in Switzerland.  Our goal was to share, what it takes to crack the Swiss job market. Be it the legal dimensions, the language aspect or navigating the nuances through personal experiences, we covered it all!  

The event was well received, thanks to the engaged audience, who were very appreciative of the resources and the personal experiences we shared. Many thanks to everyone from the Basel Tamil Sangam team who made this possible. It gives me great joy and personal satisfaction to have an opportunity to give back to the society.
